About this draft

This is a BuyerGrid product draft. It describes how the product works today so operators and reviewers can see what is collected and why. It is not a final, counsel-approved privacy policy, not a certification, and not legal advice.

Introduction and authorization flows may still show a separate product-draft agreement. That clickwrap is not attorney-reviewed and does not replace this page.

Who we are

BuyerGrid (getbuyergrid.com) is software for U.S. real-estate wholesalers and disposition operators. The public brand name is BuyerGrid. That name is not, by itself, a registered legal entity.

OWNER

Legal entity / operator name

Not established in-repo. Counsel or the founder must name the contracting and privacy operator (legal entity, DBA, or equivalent) before this draft can be treated as a production policy.

Questions and data requests: getbuyergrid@gmail.com. Ops / contact mailing address (not a legal-entity or registered-office claim): 19651 N Mitkof Loop, Eagle River, AK 99577.

Who this applies to

This draft covers people who create a BuyerGrid account, join an in-app organization, or use a public introduction or deal-room link. BuyerGrid is not built for homeowners selling a house, and it is not a consumer marketplace.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use BuyerGrid, we may process:

  • Account information from Clerk sign-in / sign-up, such as name, email address, and authentication identifiers. Organizations are in-app records, not Clerk Organizations.
  • Organization membership: org name and slug, roles, and invites of already-registered users. Invite does not send email.
  • A designated deal-contact for the organization. Introductions require this contact; it is not inferred from your login email.
  • Buyer records you add or import, including contact details, markets, and buy-box criteria you choose to store.
  • Deal records you create (property and marketing fields you enter) and ranked match results with why chips.
  • Introduction, deal-room, offer, and staged-identity activity, including acceptances, room messages, and evidence exports your org admins download.
  • Outreach drafts and mock-send records. Real email delivery is gated off in the current product.
  • Usage and security logs needed to operate the app (for example audit events for membership changes).

Optional AI features (deal summary, match explanation, flyer copy, outreach draft) may send the fields those jobs need to an LLM provider when that path is enabled. Ranking itself is deterministic and is not performed by the model.

How we use information

We use this information to:

  • Create and authenticate accounts, and keep you in the correct organization.
  • Let your org import buyers, create deals, and generate ranked matches with why chips.
  • Run protected introductions: masked Network matches, dual agree, deal rooms, room offers, and staged identity release (Masked until someone explicitly releases a field).
  • Draft outreach and record mock sends while real email remains off.
  • Respond to support requests you send to the contact email above.
  • Keep the service secure and debug failures (application error tracking, not ads).

BuyerGrid does not sell personal information. We do not run advertising pixels or a Meta Pixel on these pages today.

Buyer contacts you upload

Wholesalers upload buyer contacts they already work with. BuyerGrid stores those contacts so your organization can match, introduce, and (after release) share specific fields inside a deal room. Network match cards stay masked and are not a phonebook.

OWNER

Controller / processor classification for uploaded buyer PII

Not established in-repo. Product-draft framing: we store buyer contacts to operate matching, introductions, and deal rooms for your organization, and we do not sell that data. Counsel should decide whether BuyerGrid is a controller, a processor, or both for that PII, and whether a data-processing addendum is required.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the product you asked for:

  • Clerk, for authentication and session cookies.
  • Hosting, database, background-job, and storage providers that run the application.
  • An LLM provider, only if an AI draft/summary/explanation job is actually invoked.
  • An email provider, only if real outreach sends are later enabled. They are off today; BuyerGrid does not email introduction or deal-room URLs.
  • The other party to an introduction, only after the staged-release steps in the product.

We may also share information if required by law or to protect the service. This draft does not list a counsel-approved subprocessor schedule.

Cookies and tracking

Sign-in uses Clerk session cookies so you can stay authenticated. We do not load a Meta Pixel, ad network, or separate product-analytics SDK on these public pages today. If advertising or analytics pixels are added later, they should be disclosed before they load.

OWNER

Cookie / ads-tracking consent

Not required for current shipped surfaces. OWNER to decide consent copy and timing if a Pixel or similar tracker is introduced.

Retention and requests

To ask about access, correction, or deletion of account or uploaded data, email getbuyergrid@gmail.com. There is no self-serve deletion console in the product today.

OWNER

Retention schedule and deletion process

Not established in-repo. OWNER / counsel should set how long account, deal, buyer, and log data are kept, and how deletion requests are verified and fulfilled.

Children

BuyerGrid is for adult wholesale and disposition operators. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Location and transfers

The product is offered for U.S. wholesale / disposition use. Infrastructure may run on U.S. hosted services. This draft does not claim a specific data-residency region or a founder's country of residence.

OWNER

Cross-border transfer language

Not established. Do not invent UK, EU, or other transfer clauses, or a founder residency, until counsel writes them.

U.S. state privacy notices

OWNER

California and other state-specific notices

Not drafted. This page is not a CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, or similar statutory notice. OWNER / counsel should add state notices if they apply.

Changes

We may update this product draft as the product changes. The date at the top is the last product edit, not an attorney-approval date.
